DOEACC ‘O’ Level Course is a foundation Course of DOEACC Society in the field of Information Technology. The duration of the course is 1 Year (2 semesters of 6 months each). The next level IT course of DOEACC Society is DOEACC ‘A’Level which is equivalent to advance diploma course in Computer Application. The course starts in the month of January and July every year. Recognition has been given by the Government of India to DOEACC ‘O’ level examination conducted by the DOEACC Society as equivalent to Foundation Course in IT for the purpose of employment to the posts and services under Central Government.
O, A Level courses designed and recognized by the Govt. of India for the purpose of employment. Recognised by : Central Govt. Ministry of HRD, PSUs, Banks, National & Multinational Companies. As per MoU between DOEACC and USA, UK, CAIT, MITI-Japan are eligible for working visas MNC’s, Banks, Education, Insurance, Software industries and Government sector prefer to employee ‘O’ and ‘A’ level Holders.

Project Work: Projects in the DOEACC Scheme are an integral part of the curriculum to qualify for a certificate. There is one project after the completion of 2nd semester. No marks are assigned for this, but Candidates are required to carry out the project successfully. The head of the Institute will submit a project completion certificate in the prescribed format for issuing pass certificate to DOEACC Society for the students who have cleared all the papers and complete the project work.
1.Theory Examinations:NIELIT “O” -level theory examination is conducted twice in a year (in the month of January and July) by NIELIT, New Delhi. There is a number of examination centres all over India. The list of exam centres will be available while collecting exam form. Student can choose one of the exam centre according to their convenience.
2. Practical Examinations: The is one practical paper for NIELIT “O” Level Course. Appeared or appearing all the theory papers is the necessary condition for the practical examination. Practical Examination is conducted at the Institute under the supervision of DOEACC Society, New Delhi. Students need to provide the option for appearing in practical examination while filling up exam form with payment of additional practical examination fee as per centre. Duration of each practical examination is3 hrs.
Result of NIELIT ‘O’ Level examination is published in the NIELIT website http://www.student.nielit.gov.in normally after 2 months of completion of the exam. Students can check their result from this website and download. Students can also ask for result of the examination to the Institute. Results will be sent to the candidates from NIELIT Society individually. The result will be provided in the form of Grade. The mark scored in practical paper is not counted for calculating overall grade of the exam but, clearing practical paper is the necessary criteria for awarding the certificate.

Re-totalling of marks can be requested within one month from the date of announcement of the result. The application along with requisite fee of Rs. 300/- per module/paper should send directly to Examination Section, NIELIT, 6CGO Complex, New Delhi-3. If any correction is to be made, it will be updated to student’s result of the examination.
